Description

Keeper is seeking a Web Designer with UI and branding design experience, to join our growing Design team. The Web Designer will work in collaboration with other marketing team members to create user-centered digital experiences that employ best-in-class interaction designs and meet business objectives. The Web Designer is ultimately responsible for delivering optimal user experiences via Keeper’s website, web applications, marketing emails, and digital ads while meeting performance objectives. There is preference for this role to be based out of Chicago (hybrid with on-site work in our Chicago-based global headquarters). 100% remote candidates will also be considered in select locations.

Responsibilities

• Create and annotate UI style kits and design guidelines in collaboration with other designers, both from scratch and from existing brand conventions
• Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience
• Conduct user research to help guide your decision making process
• Strive to deliver intuitive and user-centered solutions at a high velocity
• Create wireframes and prototypes to test new ideas before implementing
• Design responsive layouts for desktop, tablet and mobile platforms
• Keep current with design trends and best practices; exploring new ideas and technologies to advance the Keeper brand and properties
• Updating and maintaining the Keeper online presence. This includes but is not limited to: all forms of digital media, online advertising, social media, website, mobile, email, and digital screens
• Build user journeys with wireframes to conceptualize designs and convey project plans to stakeholders, product managers and executives for approval

Requirements

• Excellent communication and time management skills
• UI/UX principles and best practices
• Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, graphic or web design, or equivalent experience
• ECommerce experience, preferred
• A positive mindset, team-oriented, results driven and organized
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Can manage multiple priorities, comfortable working in an iterative process and staying cool in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
• Wizard in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• Agency experience, preferred
• 2+ years of user interface and/or graphic design experience
• Ability to adapt, overcome objections and learn complex solutions
