Freelance Cloud Network Architect

The Motley Fool is looking for a highly skilled, Senior Cloud Network Architect to consult with our team on an independent contract basis, 40 hours per week for 4+ months. This is a senior-level role that is very flexible and 100% remote. However, candidates must be located in the United States for consideration.

What does this team do?

We are assembling a team of AWS-experienced developers, product managers, designers and more to help us migrate to a cloud-first environment.

What would you do in this role?

You’ll be consulting with this team to ensure that we are set up for success in this migration to a serverless system (AWS) - specifically when it comes to stability and security. Our migration is well underway, with the majority of our sites on the cloud. You’ll be helping to implement internal and external Network Security Tooling (Firewall, Security Groups, WAF), with an eye towards AWS native tooling first. Both AWS Firewall and Palo Alto experience is a must.
