Fp&A Analyst Jobs

PTG is seeking an FP&A Analyst to join our growing accounting team. PTG provides IT services to clients throughout the United States and is a portfolio company of Shore Capital Partners.

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be responsible for the financial metrics reporting of the company, including the following:

• Preparing scheduled financial reports to third-party capital providers
• Performing supporting analyses to the leadership team and board to provide deeper understand of financial performance and other underlying trends
• Reporting on weekly cash flows and expected near-term cash uses
• Support CFO in achieving operational objectives and strategic goals
• Ownership of PTG’s monthly financial reporting package and supporting deliverables
• Continuing to drive process improvements throughout financial reporting
• Supporting and managing the budgeting process through annual year-end planning
• Management of internal financial dashboards presented through PTG’s accounting reporting software
• Variance analysis by location for PTG’s financial performance against budget and prior reporting periods

What it takes to be successful at in this role at PTG:

• Hands-on experience with accounting software— Sage Intacct is highly preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with customer service focused aptitude
• Self-motivated, creative out-of-the-box thinker that naturally pushes to constantly improve systems, processes, and procedures to minimize non-value-added activities
• Detail-oriented individuals who are team players and highly self-motivated

• Minimum 1 year of proven financial reporting experience, CPA a plus
• Adaptable to change and willingness to learn different processes—it's what the Growth core value is all about!
• Desire to gain exposure to M&A
• Solution-oriented (i.e., get stuff done in a fast-paced, multi-location environment)
• Bachelor’s degree required, with focus in finance, accounting, or business a plus
• Superior organizational skills
• Tech-Savvy (strong ERP systems background; database knowledge helpful)
