Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION


Job Responsibilities

  • Develop reporting of KPIs and other metrics for decision making including reporting for Firm Operating Committee
  • Create and maintain internal fund /business unit forecasts and firm profitability model based on various key inputs from the front office strategy heads and finance teams
  • Work with business units on cost savings initiatives, the evaluation (ROI) of efficiency projects
  • Analyze current and past trends and conduct market and competitive research to identify areas of opportunity and business differentiators
  • Provide thought leadership and track progress/effectiveness of our portfolio of strategic initiatives to inform decision making for business stake holders and executives
  • Build and maintain various compensation models (carried interest, deferrals, etc) based on the hiring needs and trends of the business unit.
  • Evaluate/model the economic impact of new business lines / products being evaluated by the firm


QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Strong understanding of credit products and markets
  • Strong academic track record as demonstrated by SAT scores and GPA
  • Flexible, quick learner with the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent verbal communication and relationship management skills
  • Strong team contributor with proactive drive to deliver results
  • 4+ year of related finance and/or business strategy experience
  • Proficient in Excel with experience building and operating financial models
  • Outstanding attention to detail and committed to process and related improvements
