Job Description
What to Expect

As a Financial Services Collections Specialist, you will help support Tesla’s North American Sales and Delivery teams. Along with acting as a primary point of contact for customers, you will also collaborate with internal and external Tesla teams to service the overall customer portfolio. The right person for this job will be detailed-oriented, extremely organized, and have the ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment. A successful candidate will be ready to take on more responsibilities related to operational efficiency and project management. Communication skills are key in this role as you will be working with customers over the phone and via email.

What You’ll Do
  • Field inbound phone calls and emails to resolve overdue account issues Identify root causes and solutions for customer nonpayment
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve cash application issues
  • Collaborate with Tesla teammates to solve customer issues and provide excellent customer service
  • Proactively contact customers through outbound phone calls
  • Ability to navigate and manage workload using multiple systems
  • Meet or exceed team and individual KPI
What You’ll Bring
  • Prior collections or outbound dialing experience in a contact center environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt quickly to an ever-changing environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; including basic Excel functions
  • 2 + years of professional experience Bilingual in Spanish or French a plus
  • Prior experience in an administrative role or dealership Intermediate excel skills a plus (pivot tables, filters, vlookups)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (confident on the phone), strong attention to detail, solution focused
