Financial Data Analyst

We are currently looking for a Financial Analyst / Data Analyst to join our team!
At Weinstein Properties, we handle all aspects of owning and operating our apartment communities in-house. The Financial Analyst / Data Analyst will work with the rest of the FP&A team to support our property teams as well as senior management. The ideal candidate is expected to understand and influence improvement across a wide range of business areas.
Responsibilities will include:
Support multiple departments in the development of long term strategic plans.
Budgeting and Forecasting.
Developing presentations for senior management.
Understanding of and definition of company and functional business models.
Development and reporting of company KPI's.
Conducting frequent ad hoc analyses across business functions.
Contributing to business improvement discussions and initiatives company-wide.
Building and maintaining financial / business performance models.
Working closely with Accounting, Marketing, Pricing and Onsite teams.
Conducting competitive and market analyses.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, or similar equivalent.
3-5 year's total business experience, ideally with strong FP&A concentration.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
Power BI Experience (including DAX)
Experience working in databases (SQL, access) and manipulating large data sets.
Ability to analyze and document business processes
Ability to think analytically and solve problems
Experience evaluating financial metrics and decisions
Excellent written and communication skills
This position requires at least 2 days in office each week (Tuesday/Thursday), preference to those who are open to working more days in office.
Employees must be available to work in the corporate office as required by the employee's manager, director, and/or department policy.
