Financial Analyst Jobs

Good afternoon!

My client is seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst to join our team. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for leading the mission-essential Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance team in Springfield, VA.

Active Clearance Required:

Top Secret clearance, eligible for SCI access

Required Qualifications:

Eight years total experience with six or more years’ experience in the following:

· Specialized Financial Accounting Audit of PP&E with a DoD/IC organization.

· Demonstrated specialized experience with the development and implementation of auditable contract cost accumulation methodologies.

· Demonstrated experience applying Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to meet Compliance of Plant, Property and Equipment (PP&E) Valuation Methodologies to achieve audit readiness.

Qualified candidates will have experience with:

· Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Compliant Plant, Property, and Equipment (PP&E) Valuation Methodologies.

· Ability to understand and follow established business process documentation review tools, templates, and monitoring processes.

· Perform quality reviews to ensure completeness and accuracy of business process documentation and provide guidance and feedback to address weaknesses and gaps.

· Identify and validate documentation, invoicing and receiving reports that document the monitoring and proper accountability of Internal Use Software (IUS) listings.

· Experience with the identification and reporting of key metrics as they pertain to monitoring progress of IT hardware asset listings and Key Supporting Documents (KSDs) development.

· Identification and review of required Key Supporting Documents (KSDs) for in progress IUS assets.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent work experience. Academic degrees may be substituted for years of experience, and years of experience may be substituted for academic degrees based on the following:
