We are a growing company looking for a Data and Financial Analyst to join our team.Our company specializes in providing top-notch services in the paving industry and we are seeking an experienced analyst who will be responsible for maintaining and improving our data system tools, including our database and analytics software.The candidate will be responsible for analyzing data and creating reports that help inform business decisions.This position will focus on areas including but not limited to Operations, Estimating and Accounting.This is a direct report to Operations.
Job Summary
-The Data and Financial Analyst will learn and maintain the company’s CRM and Estimating platform.They will be the software administrator, responsible for maintaining and updating data in the estimating platform software.They will also be responsible for financial research and reporting, analyzing company costs presented to management for decision-making and control.
Key Responsibilities
-Collaborate with all departments to ensure accurate and timely data input across the various software platforms.
-Responsible for maintaining and updating operational data tracking within a project- scheduling work, trucking, equipment.
-Assist estimating on obtaining vendor quotes and keeping information current on platforms.
-Compile and track sales data and generate reports to teams and management.
-Work closely with accounting to ensure crew labor data reports are accurate and posted.
-Verify and review project costing to assist accounting with sales commissions.
-Provide software technical support for users.
-Identify and implement process improvements to streamline data analysis practices.
-Provide additional support to operations, estimating, accounting and or perform additional tasks per supervisor’s direction.
Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree preferable in finance or data analytics from a recognized college or University required.
-5+ years of experience in software administration or related role.
-Proficient in MS Office, strong knowledge of Excel.
-Experience with data analysis and reporting.
-Strong understanding of software systems and database management.
