McGuireWoods LLP has an opening for an Associate Financial Analyst to join our team in the Richmond, VA office. This role is responsible for generating and preparing the firm’s financial reports for key stakeholders and firm management. The ideal candidate will have at least one to two years of financial analysis experience, strong Microsoft Excel skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manages and executes on multiple assignments from the Finance team.
• Generates/prepares financial reports and presentations (monthly, quarterly and annually).
• Maintains open communication of assignments to the Financial Reporting & Budgeting Manager.
• Performs ad-hoc analyses.

Qualifications

• Experience programming with SQL, Python or DAX is a plus.
• Requires Bachelor’s Degree and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior experience in a legal environment is a plus, but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as superior planning and organizational skills.
• Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Power BI Desktop, and other firm provided software as required.
