The role

In the Financial Systems role, your mandate is to challenge the status quo, drive automation, and manage the continuous modernization of our Finance tech stack. You will design and deploy Finance system & tooling improvements, as well as maintain our existing data and reporting environments. You will work closely with the Finance, Data & Risk, and Data Engineering teams.

This role is responsible for:

• Technical design, development, configuration, and ongoing administration of Finance applications
• Creating detailed flowcharts, process documentation, and training materials
• Working with stakeholders to understand opportunities for improvement and translating these business needs into a roadmap of systems-leveraged solutions
• Advising on evolution of our operating model and KPI reporting environments
• Monitoring integrations to identify and resolve issues related to data reconciliation, dimensionality, change management, & tool adoption
• Partnering with IT owners to maintain understanding ONE’s overall data & platform architecture

You bring

• 5+ years of experience
• An act-like-an-owner mentality and a bias toward continuous improvement
• Familiarity with enterprise ERP and planning tools (Oracle Netsuite is a plus)
• Experience in early-stage technology companies is a plus
• Experience scripting with SQL and setting up data integrations using APIs
• Deep understanding of Finance & Accounting concepts (forecasting, financial statement prep, month-end close process, US GAAP, etc.)
• Experience managing projects across a variety of stakeholders

Pay Transparency

The estimated annual base salary for this position ranges from $175,000 to $190,000. Pay is generally based upon the level, complexity, responsibility, and job duties / requirements of the specific position. We then source candidates with the requisite skills, expertise, education, training, and experience. Leveling Philosophy

In order to thoughtfully scale the company and avoid downstream inequities, we’ve adopted a flat titling structure at ONE. Though we may occasionally post a role externally with a prefix such as “Senior” to reflect the external level of the position, we do not use prefixes in titles like that internally unless in a position which manages a team. Internal titles typically include your specific functional responsibility, such as engineering, product management or sales, and often include additional descriptors to ensure clarity of role and placement within our organization (i.e. “Engineer, Platform”, “Sales, Business Development” or “Manager, Talent”). Employees are paid commensurate with their experience and the internal level within ONE.
