The Business

Product Support & Logistics Division (PSLD) Wear Components manages two primary component groups (Undercarriage, Ground Engaging Tools) comprising in excess of a billion dollars of aftermarket and first fit sales, 10 global manufacturing sites and 1 Joint Venture.

The Role

The Finance Director – PSLD Wear Components (internally titled Business Resource Manager) will lead a global team providing financial guidance and coaching to these product groups.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Requires strong ability to work in a matrixed organization and collaborate across PSLD, Distribution Service Divisions, and other component groups in PSLD
• Manage PSLD’s spend/contract governance processes for Wear Components
• Direct support for Wear Components Vice President with significant interaction with PSLD Senior Vice President, Division CFO, Component Product Managers and Operations
• Moderate accounting complexity, some statutory reporting responsibilities, and some Joint Venture management interactions
• Based in Chicago or Peoria, IL with limited travel (<25%)
• Leads a global team of ~30 with 5 direct reports
• Compliance and controls oversight for components facilities including support and remediation for Internal Audits and PSLD internal assessments
• Lead investment analysis for growth initiatives, capital investments, New Product Introduction support and PSLD Transformation project initiatives

Basic Qualifications

• Prior leadership experience
• 10 or more years of progressively responsible Accounting or Finance related experience
• Bachelor's degree in an Accounting or Finance related discipline

Top Candidates Will Also Have

• Finance Certification (CPA, CMA, etc) and/or MBA or Master’s degree in a business related field.
• Strong analytical skills are required to perform detailed financial analysis and prepare strategic plans
• Strong background in accounting, cost accounting, and budget development
• Demonstrated Emotional Intelligence
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills are required in order to deal with sensitive issues, develop others, or persuade others inside and outside the department to take specific action
