Job Description

About the job

An well established and growing Financial Services company based in Los Angeles is looking for a Finance Associate to join their business. The Finance Associate will be joining a lean and cross-functional team to assist with identifying opportunities to help deliver the businesses products to their clients.


Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with annual financial statement audits and regulatory reporting
  • Coordinating with auditors, external tax advisors, brokers and administrators
  • Performing various tasks as required in support of the Controller
  • Performing monthly cash and expense reconciliations
  • Processing vendor invoices and reconcile discrepancies
  • Assist with tax-fillings


Experience/Skills required:

  • 2+ years experience of general accounting experience
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Strong knowledge of reconciliation and account analysis
  • Team player that thrives in both leadership and individual contributor assignments
  • Experience working as a Financial Associate or within Accounting
  • BA/BS required in Accounting or Finance
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles
