Job Description


The CCC will provide support to the General Manager, the HR Manager and Senior Leadership Team. The CCC must be the voice/extension of the site leadership team, enhancing culture communication aligned with Chewy’s Ops Team Member Promise (OTMP), providing continuity within the site. They must have the demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, earn the trust of others, and manage multiple priorities and people simultaneously. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, highly organized, and detail oriented. Other responsibilities will include:


Responsibilities


  • Manage complex calendars and scheduling with diplomacy and discretion.
  • Schedule cost-effective travel arrangements to include, airfare/hotel/ground transportation for the GM, and Senior Leader(s) as needed.
  • Conduct work-related errands as needed, including coordinating event meals/catering if required.
  • Manage and complete expense reports for General Manager, Senior Leader(s) if applicable, and yourself as needed.
  • Compile site and team goals and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Partner with Site leadership to develop and/or coordinate exempt and non-exempt team member events, recognition activities and initiatives. Order team recognition items.
  • Maintain schedules, plan events, coordinate meetings, and conferences for the Fulfillment Center leadership.
  • Have knowledge of the Employee Relations Incentive Budget and ensure the site is tracking to appropriate planning and spend.
  • Type meeting notes for the GM, HRM and the Site Leadership Team as needed, creating agendas and minor content curriculum creation.
  • Complete all other support tasks that may arise for day to day as required and as requested by the General Manager.
  • Conduct clerical duties as needed, including general office and supply management.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive Chewy information as a critical representative of the GM, HRM, Senior Team, and Site.
  • Coordinate and sometimes lead in site communications, taking partnerships with Internal Corporate Communications, Public Relations and Branding teams as needed. Partner with Operations and Human Resources on implementation of internal communications for exempt and non-exempt team members leveraging multiple approved platforms, interfaces, and programs.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with network partners, including but not limited to Recruiting, Human Resources, Employee Relations, Public Relations, Learning, Facilities, Safety, Supply Chain and Logistics and other teams within the Fulfillment Center.
  • Own and manage meeting room coordination and room calendar management.
  • Work with outside vendors and support partners to coordinate upkeep, and maintenance of the Fulfillment Center.
  • Act as a liaison for community outreach and community events as required.


Basic Qualifications


  • Ability to work a flexible schedule (Monday-Friday) and overtime as needed.
  • Demonstrate high levels of integrity, discretion, and the ability to use a higher judgment when needed, and maintain appropriate confidentiality as required,
  • Ability to handle confidential information, as well as demonstrate the ability to respond effectively to changing workloads and priorities.
  • Associate or bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with the tactical and acting with a sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, problem solve, manage time effectively and work to stringent deadlines.
  • Passion and enthusiasm for Chewy’s Operating Principles (OP) and Operations Team Member Promise (OTMP)
  • Have a team-oriented approach, with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of groups such as team members, senior leadership, peers, and community/outside contacts.
  • Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • 2+ years administrative support experience.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
