Film And Media Arts Production Coordinator

Job Summary

Tutors and mentors students through the school’s production equipment, software, and facilities including film production studios, prop room and other production spaces. Aids faculty, staff and oversees student and departmental project evolution from production through postproduction leading to final output for theatrical, streaming presentations, public exhibition, and student portfolio inclusion. Aids students in the acquisition of location insurance and permitting needs for shooting on Cleveland State University (CSU) property, City of Cleveland, and other remote locations. Acting as a professional liaison with numerous internal and external constituents including but not limited to, the School of Film & Media Arts, CSU, City of Cleveland, Playhouse Square and the Greater Cleveland Film Commission. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in a media or related field.
• Experience working with industry standard production and postproduction software and outputs for distribution.
• Three (3) years of experience in a media related position.
• Supervisory or leadership experience.
• Understanding of the film production and post production processes.
