Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION – DESIGNER

  • Create detailed tech packs and instructions for overseas development
  • Manage sample tracking
  • Report to Creative Director and Senior Designer
  • Design across all categories along with the team with direction from Creative Director
  • Source and prepare all trims for SMS
  • Generate POs in RLM for all development orders
  • Source and develop raw materials
  • Liaise with factories and fabric mills to ensure high quality execution
  • Research for seasonal Mood/Inspiration/Trend Report/Details & Fabric Manipulations
  • Create prototypes and mocks ups for overseas development (knitwear, leather, fur, etc.)
  • Document and provide information of each garment and complete BOMs
  • Arrange with local suppliers and factories for finishings and treatments (Applying snaps, studs, buttonholes, executing embellishments and pleat panels, etc.)
  • Create artworks in Photoshop for Prints and jacquards



REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design
  • +1 years of experience working in high-end / Luxury RTW
  • Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator & Microsoft office suite
  • Excellent self-management skills
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and highly organized
