FACILITIES MAINTENANCE WORKER

The City of College Park is looking for a full-time Facilities Maintenance Worker to provide maintenance services for all municipal government buildings.

Duties include but are not limited to basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and electrical work. The selected candidate must be able to create and maintain work orders and inspection logs.

This position is considered essential; the person selected must be able to report to work during inclement weather and other emergency situations.

The minimum requirements are:

• The ability to bend, stoop, lift, and perform manual labor and use power hand tools.
• 4 years of experience in performing at a basic level in several of the trades listed above.
• A valid Class B commercial driver's license (CDL)
• High school diploma or equivalent

Starting at $24.26 per hour depending on qualifications plus excellent benefits, which includes Maryland State Retirement.
