The internship program at Carolina Herrera NY (CHNY) is designed to engage young talented students, like yourself, and evolve the future leaders of fashion.



It is our goal that your internship experience is a fun educational experience. The cross departmental approach at such a small company enhances your skill set beyond any learning of the class room setting. You will have the opportunity to work with almost every department. This working environment at CHNY provides the greatest opportunity for you to acquire hands-on experience in the business world.

What you´ll get to do

  • Create and maintain fabric rings with seasonal swatches.
  • Create seasonal cards with fabric swatch and all fabric technical information.
  • Collect fabric research packages and price fabric selection.
  • Manage incoming fabric rolls with the team
  • Source fabrics with local fabric retailers as needed.
  • Recolor print CADS when necessary.
  • Organize fabric library by season
  • Enter fabric data into software ensuring complete accuracy for production use.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including preparing deliveries and pick-ups to/from local fabric agents, swatching print pitch sheets, shipping out fabric development packages, etc.
  • Track simple fabric shipments and provide outstanding documents when needed.
  • Assess information in fabric chart for accuracy.
  • Maintain fabric board and update as needed.

We´d love to meet you if you

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Photoshop. Illustrator, Good Sense of Color, Detail Oriented, Neat presentation Skills
  • Must be a current student or recent graduate (2023)
  • Must have Basic Fabric Knowledge

The hourly wage for this position is $15 per hour. Interns are eligible to work up to 25 hours per week. This is an in-person opportunity only.
