Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Effective execution of company policies and procedures relating to expediting (including but not limited to, safety and ethics).
• Accountable to the Procurement Department Manager, Project Management, the lead Expeditor, and the lead Buyer or other designated Supply Management project lead for:
• Timeliness, accuracy and adequacy of problem identification, status reporting and corrective action.
• Timely execution of all necessary clerical and administrative duties necessary to the expediting function.
• Assures compliance with Supply Management policies and procedures and brings any non-compliance issues to the attention of management.
• Effectiveness of relationships with suppliers, management, customers, support organizations, and project team members.
• Works with designated Expeditor or other Supply Management project lead regarding implementation and support of expediting programs and procedures.

Training and Experience:

• BA or BS, or equal, preferred.
• Executes assigned work under the close supervision and guidance of an Expeditor II or above, the Procurement Manager or other more senior level Supply Management personnel.
• Limited use and/or application of basic principles, theories, concepts, and industry practices and standards.
• 0 – 4 yrs. relevant experience.
