LCS is seeking an experienced hospitality focused Executive Director/Administrator in the senior housing industry to oversee the daily operations at John Knox Village East in Higginsville, MO . The Executive Director is the key leader at John Knox Village and is responsible for executing the strategic plan of the community, including the implementation of the LCS Signature Programs. This position will serve as the Executive Director and be licensed in the state of Missouri to also serve as the Administrator. John Knox Village is a Life Plan community located in Higginsville, MO with 136 Independent Living homes, 34 Assisted Living care units, and a 56 bed Health Center.

The Role:

  • Maintain positive relationship with representatives of government agencies who survey and inspect the Community.
  • Handle maintaining licensure and certification of the Community; ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Ensure that corporate compliance and HIPAA directives are implemented and monitored.

Marketing & Sales Leadership:

  • Understand and have the ability to influence sales culture
  • Lead and contribute to sales, marketing and business development strategy
  • Responsibility for overall sales/occupancy results
  • Hold sales teams accountable to utilization of sales systems and standards

Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • A thorough understanding of federal and state laws related to the operation of the Community.
  • An active nursing home administrator license in the Missouri.
  • The technical knowledge required is best obtained through BS or MS degree in business, health care, hotel/restaurant management, or closely related area
  • Ability to work effectively and diplomatically with a variety of publics, including residents, Board of Directors/Owners, community groups, government agencies, etc.
  • Some background in financial management, including budget preparation, cash flow management, and analysis of financial reports.
  • A minimum of three years of management experience in health care or life care community environment is required
