Job Summary

Working as an Executive Chef for R/A , you will support a corporate dining account conveniently located directly above Grand Central Terminal. You will be responsible for overseeing all culinary functions for a cafe, catering services and several micro markets.

We are looking for a professional with:

  • Strong culinary experience in catering operations
  • An outstanding eye for creativity and presentation
  • Process and systems experience to create excellence on a consistent basis


You will partner with a strong on-site management team, oversee a Sous Chef and approximately 20-25 hourly BOH associates. Union experience is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an outstanding culinary program for our client
  • Be responsible for financials as related to food costs and controls related to BOH operations
  • Purchase and manage inventory
  • Manage a team of culinary associates

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Desire to learn and grow with a top notch foodservice company
  • High volume production and catering experience is essential
  • Three to five years of culinary management experience
  • Culinary degree preferred
  • Previous experience managing cost controls
