Events Coordinator

tarte cosmetics is seeking a coordinator who will be responsible for executing & planning all marketing events. This role will work cross functionally with PR, influencer, marketing & creative teams to coordinate key activations. Candidates must have experience in large & small scale event planning, & possess the ability to prioritize & thrive in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Seek out & facilitate collaboration with like-minded brands for event collaboration & gifting opportunities
  • Support HR & other cross-functional departments as needed for internal/corporate events
  • Negotiate contracts & pricing as needed
  • Manage creative execution of events including creation of branded collateral, décor & on-site setup
  • Manage 1-2 interns per semester
  • Manage & work within department budget
  • Drive project timelines to stay organized & meet all deadlines
  • Brainstorm & source creative activations, vendors & activities for events
  • Main point of contact on-site for all events
  • Work cross-functionally to coordinate guest lists & invitations
  • Responsible for all event planning logistics including but not limited to coordinating travel, venues, sourcing vendors, shipping products, on-site problem-solving, etc.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint
  • Experience with media &/or influencer events a plus
  • 1-2 years’ experience in event planning
  • Ability to be flexible & experience troubleshooting problems in real time
  • Frequent travel & evening/weekend responsibilities during events
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, & ability to multi-task
  • Domestic and International travel will be required for this specific position. An applicant’s vaccination status may be a consideration for this specific position due to domestic and international covid vaccination travel requirements.
