Event Operations Manager Jobs

The NASCAR Racing Experience and Mario Andretti Racing Experience is seeking an energetic, self-motivated candidate to assist our crew in delivering memorable experiences.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service by anticipating customer needs
• Lead & execute various projects independent & efficiently
• Interview / hiring local seasonal event staff members.
• Schedule, supervise, and direct a cross functional team of 10-30 event staff on-site.
• Operate & lead a team in a high pressure, time sensitive environment
• Train employees to follow company procedures
• Assist in Customer Service Quality Control
• Coordinate with different departments to ensure successful execution of events

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to adapt to new people, demands and environments while working on multiple events is a must.
• Ability to work Weekends and Travel is a MUST
• At least 18 years of age
• Able to lift/hold 50 lbs
• Ability to develop constructive & cooperative working relationships with managers and local seasonal staff.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Applications
• Regularly required to bend, reach, push and pull
• Ability to communicate tasks & supervise local event staff of 10-30 on-site.
• Remain upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time
