Job Description

GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY : To ensure that all phases of the banquet operations at are performing at a consistent high quality guest experience and achieving financial goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

· Maintain quality assurance standards for service and culinary staffs.

· Manage staffing levels to guarantee quality in product and service presentation, as well as to maximize revenue.

· Promote a safe, healthy work environment for all Food and Beverage staff members.

· Maintain and use knowledge of cost controls.

· Apply public relations skills to ensure guest satisfaction.

· Enforce OSHA and WISHA requirements for restaurant and cafes.

· Use knowledge of Fair Labor Practices to effectively discipline and manage Team Members.

· Supervise the hourly team members in all F&B Space Needle operations.

· Provide continuous feedback to Director of F&B regarding challenges or opportunities.

· Meet with restaurant and kitchen staff to review guest comments and/or complaints in order to provide continuous improvement and problem resolution for related issues.

· Perform any other duties deemed necessary by the Director of F&B


OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES :

· Work with Manager and Director of F&B to ensure that company maintains a vision of growth for the food and beverage department.

· Utilize knowledge of budgeting.

· Represent the corporation as a member of the community.

· Establish and use computer skills relative to Word, Excel, Guest Bridge and Aloha systems.


EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED :

· Ability to handle multiple projects at one time.

· Minimum of two years experience in event/banquet operation with accountability for financial reporting in the areas of beverage and service.

· Passion for F&B.

· Focus on what is right.

· Open to an ever changing environment.

· Excellent written and oral communication skills.

· Computer literacy with Word for Windows and Excel.

· Proven ability to motivate, teach, and lead restaurant staff.

· Always remains professional and works well with others.

· Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

· Able to lift 40 pounds.

Full time, Salaried position

Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 DOE + Bonus up to 15%
