Job Description
Crawford Group is seeking an Event Operations Manager for a client of ours. The ideal candidate will be creative, detailed oriented, and have a proven track record of driving and executing tech user conferences for a B2B enterprise technology company. The Event Operation Manager will be the hands-on operations lead in the day-to-day planning of customer-facing events and conferences.

Responsibilities:
Execution, delivery, and oversight of customer advisory board, analyst summit, sales incentive
Project management including planning, budgeting, execution, vendor management, contract management, and analysis and reporting
Collaborate with and lead our event operations with key vendors across various disciplines
Support an internal cross-functional team to leverage the infrastructure and processes required to successfully execute the event strategy and objectives
Conduit and consultant for all event production/management: audio visual, Internet, mobile applications, registration, housing, space allocation, and all other aspects of the event
Manage all suppliers from initial briefing through on site delivery
Oversee external relationships (agencies, vendors)
Project management of delivery of event including timeline management, roles & responsibilities
Internal reporting weekly workstream progress updates
Build and manage a food and beverage grid, a hotel rooming list, executive grid, executive briefing decks on the events
Sourcing for venues and budget development for multiple meetup type of events including building out a templated flyer, website, registration card, know before communications etc
Monitor, measure, and report event execution and results
Requirements:
5-9 years successful event management experience including setting strategy, in a B2B, high-tech, fast-paced environment
Passion and experience for managing small to large events or conferences with multiple events within a given month
Proven leadership and management expertise in bringing together large internal and external teams to perform an excellent event
Strong project management and interpersonal communications skills
Ability to work transparently with the ability to understand the need for daily updates to the clients and utilizing a project management systems like Asana
Must be confident in managing vendors and internal teams
General knowledge about suppliers, new technologies and industry standards a plus
Obsessed with results and measuring program results and impact
Must thrive on teamwork and overcoming obstacles together
Must have a sense of humor and play well with others
Creative thinker, open to idea exploration with strong problem solving/analytical abilities
BA/BS in Business, Marketing, Communications, or other related event credentials
Location: Remote, PT hours
Duration: 7-months consulting
Rate: $1800-$2400/weekly, W-2 consultant of Crawford Group (Our salary ranges are determined based on skills, experience, and location)
