Summary


Every WealthCounsel employee is focused on improving the experience for our thousands of members. The primary role of the Event Coordinator is to support the events team with all aspects of preparing for and executing a virtual or in-person event. The ideal candidate would have strong technical and communication skills and be comfortable working cross-functionally with all departments.


Essential Duties And Responsibilities


  • Monitor registration numbers
  • Update website calendar and event registration websites
  • Assist the events team with all aspects of planning virtual and in-person meetings or events
  • Process registration requests and respond to escalated registration questions and issues.
  • Support Events Team as needed
  • Occasional travel for company events and meetings
  • Host webinars & virtual meetings – providing speaker and attendee support
  • Assists with editing and posting virtual and in-person event recordings and materials to the WealthCounsel website
  • Update the internal Google company calendar with links & reports
  • Assist with pulling attendance reports and ensuring information is accurate in Zoom Webinar, Swoogo, and Salesforce (CRM).
  • Provide onsight support for in-person member events
  • Coordinate with Finance on credit card or payment errors
  • Liaisons with venue staff and vendors to coordinate day-to-day activities during events.


Essential Skills And Abilities


  • Experience with Zoom Webinar or other webinar platforms
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience
  • Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Must be accurate, organized, and detail-oriented, yet flexible and willing to help where needed
  • Demonstrates excellent listening and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of SalesForce and/or other CRMs is a plus
  • Experience using video editing software or Camtasia is a plus
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative, and open team environment
  • Experience with Swoogo and/or other event management systems
  • Experience working in a diverse administrative role
