The Process Automation team is responsible for designing solutions (application or automation) that optimize operational efficiencies and controls. The team oversees solutions that provide $20M in annual operational expense savings and will continue to add more benefits as we expand our RPA program. Data management and data integrity are critical to our success. The ETL/RPA Developer will be responsible for designing data solutions to move data between our systems and design controls to reconcile all transactions. The ETL/RPA Developer will also support all RPA automation programs where ETL tools are required to get the job done. The ETL/RPA Developer will support the existing SSRS reports and Tableau reports in production, as well as designing new reports to address business demands. The ETL/RPA Developer will take on RPA development work to maximize the team’s contribution to the enterprise. This individual will also be responsible for designing and supporting SQL Server databases, and working with the various IT groups to stand up and monitor database servers.
Responsibilities include:
Data Management and Automations
- Determine potential and actual data ingest and export bottlenecks and propose recommendations for their elimination.
- Design, develop, manage, maintain, and evaluate state-of-the-art extraction, translation and loading tools and methodologies.
- Oversee and maintain health of all SQL Server databases.
- Design and deliver Robotics Processing Automation solutions to meet operation demands.
- Design Tableau and SSRS reports to monitor control over applications, ETL operations, and automation solutions.
- Evaluate their ability to efficiently translate and load enterprise data sources within common data model architecture.
- Assist in the formulation of data ingest processes.
RPA Automations
- Analyze, understand and document the business processes in detail.
- Configure new RPA processes and objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand.
- Identify and communicate the technical infrastructure requirements.
- Design RPA process solutions on Ui Path and any other future automation platforms in accordance with standard design principles and conventions. Work closely with other developers and the technical lead to ensure design best practices are followed and a high delivery velocity is maintained.
- Identify new process opportunities and accurately analyze and estimate new processes, quickly assessing feasibility.
- Employ strong analytical skills with a process optimization mindset. You will work side-by-side with customers in understanding their processes and translating them into fully functional RPA process artifacts.
Relationship Management
- Liaison between internal and external business units, system development personnel and executive management.
- Be an internal consultant, and mentor to more junior with task-level leadership, guidance, and direction.
- Involved in large project coordination that crosses over systems and platforms.
- Participate as the subject matter expert (SME) on data and RPA automation projects.
- Primary contact for data production issues.
- Maintain ongoing contacts with other departments/areas to coordinate functions/projects, streamline processes, and deliver excellent customer service.
- Get to know the supported business area(s), have an awareness of related objectives and challenges.
Other duties as assigned by management.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree- Business, Project Management, MIS or related area (additional experience may substitute).
- Strong knowledge of C# scripting and Web Services in SSIS packages preferred (additional education or software experience may substitute).
- 4+ years of work experience with SQL Server T-SQL language (additional education may substitute).

- 2-3 years of Production Support experience.
- Ability to simultaneously manage and organize multiple projects.
- 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to make recommendations and decisions independently.
- Testing and/or Quality Assurance.
- Ability to lead and coordinate activities or project group.
- Demonstrate excellent PC skills, including an intermediate knowledge of Excel spreadsheet software.
- Problem and/or Change Management.
- Procedural Analysis.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and to work independently with high levels of initiative.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to recognize/analyze/resolve system and procedural problem areas.
