Job Description

What is my Impact?

Junior IT ETL Developers are responsible for development, programming, coding of Information Technology solutions. Junior IT ETL Developers are also responsible for including IT Controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, as well as availability of the application and data processed or output by the application.


What are my Key Responsibilities?

  • Support monthly batch commission cycles and ensure SLAs are met.
  • Take initiative to troubleshoot and figure out issues and resolutions independently and identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
  • Quickly evaluate defects, investigate causes, and come up with solutions to address defects.
  • Provide production support and providing clear communication on the resolution of incidents.
  • Demonstrated analytical ability and problem-solving skills.

What is Required?

  • Required Work Experience: 2+ years related work experience with technical design and coding in the IT industry with ETL tools (Example: Informatica/ SSIS).
  • Required Education: High school diploma or GED.

  • Basic demonstrated proficiency using versioning and debugging tools.
  • Demonstrated SQL and database experience.
  • Working knowledge of Information Technology fields and communicate technical information clearly.
  • Demonstrate Organization, ability to meet deadlines, work independently, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Must understand the systems development life cycle and basic proficiency using standard desktop applications such as MS Suite and flowcharting tools such as Visio.

What is Preferred?

  • Knowledge of Agile software development project methodologies preferred.
  • Experience in Healthcare or Blue Cross organization.
  • Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field Related IT field.

General Physical Demands:

Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.

Annualized Salary Range: $61,000 - $99,100

Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $61,000 - $76,200

Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
