Title: Mid-level Environmental Scientist / Planner

Location: Portland (flex)

FULL TIME ROLE

Must Haves:

• B.S. or M.S. in Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, Marine Science, Geography, Biology, or related degree.

• 5+ years related experience in a wide variety of technical areas, and potentially including experience with project management and leading / managing technical teams.

• Familiarity with federal, state, and local environmental permitting regulations and processes.

• Ability to produce written reports and related documents that demonstrate solid technical writing and critical thinking capabilities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent writing skills.

• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office suite.

• Ability to foster a positive work culture.

Day to Day:

Come work for us as an environmental scientist or planner for water resources projects! Be part of a small team of environmental scientists and biologists who help our clients implement their projects in compliance with environmental regulations. We work primarily with federal clients on the West Coast clients (OR, WA, CA, and AK). Successful candidates will have a broad technical background in environmental science, environmental planning/impact assessment, and/or permitting, and will enjoy working on a variety of project types and resource areas. Experience with federal environmental regulations and planning processes is required
