We are looking for a skilled, resourceful, and collaborative Project Environmental Data Specialist to join our team in Bedford, NH, or Boston, MA. This position also includes the potential to work remotely, but ideally the candidate would be available to work in our Bedford, NH office periodically to support project needs. The Environmental Data Specialist will work closely with a team of staff engineers and scientists on challenging and exciting projects. Essential Functions-What You Will Do

• Review field data and laboratory reports for quality, compliance with project objectives, and consistency with historical data (e.g., anomalies/data outliers, laboratory QA/QC nonconformances, etc.).
• Communicate and coordinate with project staff and analytical laboratories.
• Manage field and laboratory analytical data in accordance with project specific work plans, quality assurance project plans (QAPPs), sampling and analysis plans (SAPs), and/or regulatory permits and standards.
• Work with data management/analytical software to manage data in the project database (EQuIS®), and retrieve, analyze, and present environmental data.
• Prepare or assist in the preparation of QAPPs, SAPs, and data management portions of work plans.
• Support fast-paced site development projects, environmental investigations, remediation projects, and solid waste projects.

Competencies-What We Are Looking For

• 2 to 5 years of experience in environmental data management with a minimum of a BS in environmental chemistry, environmental science, geology, engineering, or another closely related STEM field. A problem-solving mindset and strong desire to learn about the investigation and cleanup of environmental contamination is a must.
• Experience with data management software (e.g., EQuIS®, USEPA Scribe) is essential, and knowledge of advanced statistical methods is a plus.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills are required, and practical experience with programming languages (e.g., R, Python) highly recommended.
• Strong attention to detail is required.
