Associate Scientist Jobs

Primary Responsibilities

·Participate in experimental design/planning and new assay development/optimization

·Perform molecular biology and cell-based assays with minimal supervision

·Perform data analysis, interpret results and present to the team

·Apply novel technologies in gene and/or cell therapy to on-going and new projects

·Contributes to multiple projects executed in parallel

·Provide general laboratory assistance, such as ordering materials, organizing supplies and maintaining equipment

·Carefully record, organize data and generate presentations

Qualifications

·BS or MS in Biology, Immunology, Pharmacology or a related discipline

·1+ years of relevant research experience

·Extensive hands-on experience in molecular cloning and mammalian cell culture

·Experience in protein analysis using Western blot and ELISA

·Competency with Microsoft Office, GraphPad Prism and SnapGene

·Strong record-keeping and data documentation skills

Excellent organization and communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively
