Entry Level Project Coordinator - Austin, Texas

Edge Electric is looking for a Project Coordinator to join our fast-growing team. The Project Coordinator serves a vital role in supporting project management, organized documentation, coordination, and planning, as well as ensuring smooth project communications from start to completion. The Project Coordinator will work closely with various teams across the company including estimating, project managers, general foremen, and vendors.

This is a full-time role with immediate availability in our Buda, TX office. Pay is commensurate with experience: $18/hour for green; $25/hour for experienced candidates
Responsibilities

• Scheduling inspections
• Process job closeouts
• Request and distribute ship schedules
• Coordinate internal and external meetings
• Order blueprints
• Assist Project Managers as needed
• Maintain organized filing systems
• Update budgets and prepare presentation for meetings
• Fulfill COI requests
• Material tracking and procurement
• Create project handoff packets
• Create job sheets and distribute
• Maintain employee information within Procore
• Create jobs on Procore
• Apply for and purchase permits

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communications
• Construction experience not required but considered a plus
• Ability to multitask and identify opportunities for process improvement
• Proficient in Microsoft Suites
• Passion for managing teams and driving results
• Procore experience not required but considered a plus
• Advanced skillset in time management and task prioritization
