Engineering Lab Assistant Jobs

In this role you will be responsible for creating prototype products for our military customers. Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision and self-motivated. You will work with electronic technicians and engineers to build and modify new and current assemblies. This position requires the individual to build cables, populate circuit cards with surface mount and through hole components, build and assemble test boxes and test stations. You may be required to place BGA parts using a BGA placement machine and verify BGA placement by utilizing an x-ray machine. You may also be required to apply conformal coat as well apply various chemicals to products. You need to be able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics and have excellent communication skills.
Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship or Permanent Resident status.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Must be able to obtain a secret clearance
• You must be able read schematics and blue prints
• You must have soldering experience
• You must be able to work within a team or individually

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Prior use of Oracle would be a plus
