Our People Change Management team inspires change through simple communications, processes, data, and technology solutions.
The ideal candidate for this role is a future-focused leader with a background in change management and communications who can engage with senior leadership to align on the key priorities, build robust change strategies and leverage expert partners to deliver new innovative capabilities & solutions. The candidate has proven experience partnering with People leaders to lead, harness, build, and deliver critical business transformation across global programs and initiatives. You also understand People strategies, processes & technology and are a strong written and verbal communicator.

The Change Engagement Leader is responsible to encourage and mobilize a team passionate about common results, goals, and timelines. We are seeking candidates with deep expertise in communications, change strategy, and engagement and exceptional execution abilities. The Change Engagement Leader will engage Apple’s internal customers and craft a shared vision, validate, iterate and scale solutions through communications and engagement.
We use an agile approach to deliver transformations in a multidimensional and fast-paced environment. Flexibility, positive attitude, teamwork, and resourcefulness are key attributes needed for success.

Key Qualifications

15+ years of organizational change management experience, business transformation, or initiative management across high-profile companies
10+ years of experience creating and implementing strategic organizational change plans
10+ years experience in complex global enterprise with diverse lines of business and highly matrixed operating structures
Systems thinker with ability to picture downstream challenges and create end-to-end mitigations
Ability to lead and deliver in the face of ambiguity in ways that encourage calm and confidence across teams and with colleagues
Proven track record in building successful cross-functional partnerships
Ability to pivot as priorities change and needs emerge
Superb execution skills — a “doer” as well as a “thinker”
Experience with high-tech, innovation-forward workforces
Ability to guide and advise senior business leaders appropriately and effectively
Tactical experience in development of high-quality, multi-channel communication and enablement content for a variety of business segments and in tight-deadline situations
Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication and presentation skills
Strong analytical capability
Comfortable expressing a point of view and influencing change while ensuring diverse perspectives are heard and understood
Foundational knowledge of three core business disciplines — change management, human resources, and organizational communication
Domestic and international travel may be required

Description

Responsible for:
Crafting and leading change communication plans that work across Apple’s diverse and evolving business landscape
Building strong trust-based partnerships across the People team and with other functions to drive what matters
Leading the development and delivery of quality enablement activities and assets
Driving measurable results that advance change initiatives in ways that reflect Apple's values and culture
Managing alignment and concurrence across teams and stakeholders, working closely with the change management process lead
Keeping key stakeholders informed and involved throughout change processes
Mentoring and coaching colleagues on the change team
Engaging in continuous improvement techniques to incorporate takeaways into projects the project and communications

Education & Experience

Bachelors Degree is required; PMI/PMP/Six Sigma certifications are a plus.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $157,500 and $237,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You’ll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses — including tuition.
