Employee Communications Specialist Jobs

The Employee Communications Specialist is responsible for creating and distributing content to employees within an organization. They work closely with leadership to determine what information should be shared, when it should be distributed, and how it should be presented.

The Employee Communications Specialists may also be tasked with developing strategies to improve employee engagement and/or morale. This might include things like facilitating town hall meetings and organizing social events.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drive projects from conception to completion, bringing strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Manage JFA’s employee social media sharing program (Create content, find new ways to engage employees).
• Develop content and lead logistics for Town Halls.
• Works cooperatively with others.
• Acts as a bridge between JFA and Extracts Global employees.
• Set the timing of release to coordinate with company events or initiatives.
• Ensure communication strategy is consistent and reflects JFA’s strategic vision.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Develops content for email newsletters, announcements, and other communications materials.
• Prepares a variety of promotional and informational materials including articles, bulletins, websites, pamphlets, and other related media material.
• Manage company news page –JFA HR using the SharePoint platform.
• Keeps communications fresh, creative, and engaging.
• Develops message content and select a channel/manner of communication that reflects the information being communicated and the audience being targeted.
• Complies with all company policies and procedures.

KNOWLEDGE and QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to be respectful, approachable, and team-oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
• Photo and video-editing software experience a plus.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills.
• Strong writing and editing skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in copywriting and editing.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, English, Journalism, or Marketing preferred. OR equivalent combination of training, education, and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in web design and content production.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working on employee communications campaigns.
