Job Description

Role: Project Manager


Location: Lake Forest, IL - 60045


Duration: 12 Months on W2


Shift Timings: 8am to 4:30PM



  • Manages/directs the activities and people associated with small to large scale projects with a focus on any or several non-IT business applications and disciplines.
  • Provide expert project guidance/support proactively through project completion.
  • Deliver quality project solutions to business problems or issues within defined budgets and/or timelines.
  • Manage/direct all facets of single or multiple, multidimensional, mission-critical projects through the Full Project Life Cycle.
  • Collaborate/work with project sponsors, business units and users to identify project scope and focus, develop or monitor project initiatives, implement project requirements/plans/processes/tools, assign/guide/monitor project staff, manage project budget and assure project success.


Experience


  • Project leadership preferably in or impacting a manufacturing environment
  • Experience translating project objectives into actionable plans
  • Experience working in a medical regulated industry, ability to understand and operate within procedural requirements
  • Experience with manufacturing automation implementation
  • Experience working with equipment vendors and component suppliers as related to project execution
  • Change management experience preferably with process design


Some Other Important Points


  • Position is a PM in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of automation equipment
  • Would be working in manufacturing facilities
  • PM certification a plus
  • Engineering degree is helpful
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Project will include building equipment, installing and getting ready for production
  • This is non-IT; please do not submit candidates with IT PM experience
  • Will report to leadership on project status
  • 100% onsite
  • PM experience with project timelines, scope of project, deadlines and keeping project on track; tracking project status
