- Bachelor's degree in public health or other related field
- Strong technical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint), Smartsheet, SharePoint, and WebEx
- At least 5-7 years’ experience in project management
- Excellent judgment and decision making, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail, and business acumen to accomplish project goals and strategic objectives
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple timelines, thrive in a complex environment, and successfully address competing priorities
- Extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, as well as resource management practices
- Skills and demonstrated experience in project management, cultural awareness, health equity, creative problem solving, and innovation
- Coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed
- Responsible for assembling project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality review; and escalating functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately
- Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet stakeholder expectations
- Interview staff to determine areas of improvement for the Division, particularly relating to onboarding and offboarding
- Responsible for tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of stakeholders
- Maintain collegial, productive relationships with colleagues and partners
- Create a complete onboarding program for the Division of Infectious Diseases (DID)
- Assess and provide recommendations for improving communication and employee satisfaction within DID
- Clearly communicate policies and procedures to non-technical audiences
- Assists Program Manager(s) in partnering with senior management of the business community to identify and prioritize opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve the goals of the enterprise
- Create and implement training for infectious diseases policies and procedures
- Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting and stability of project-oriented work efforts
- Assist with special projects for DID
- Manages one or more cross-functional projects of varying complexity
- Complete a DID Handbook including standard operating procedures
- Assist Division Chief with reviewing written documents
