Sapporo USA and Stone Brewing have come together to form one of the top 15 largest breweries in the United States, building on the strong legacies of our celebrated heritages. We brew badass beers on both coasts at our breweries in Escondido, CA and Richmond, VA, and create amazing experiences at our Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens and Taproom locations. Summary


Our marketing team is looking for an Ecommerce Specialist to manage our Shopify storefronts and direct-to-consumer business across our Sapporo and Stone brands, while partnering with the marketing team on overall website optimizations, content implementation, and day to day operations. Success in this role will be defined by driving the online and digital marketing business initiatives to increase overall website revenue, website conversion and customer engagement on site.


Additionally, the Ecommerce Specialist will help manage third-party retailer ecommerce strategy and initiatives. We are looking for a consumer-focused, highly creative, and analytical problem solver to lead initiatives that positively impact the business and delight our fans. This role is highly cross-functional and presents the exciting opportunity to gain exposure across the business in executing on digital roadmap initiatives. We are looking for a person that wants to dive in and help build the business with us.


Responsibilities


  • Assist Director of Digital Marketing with setting the ecommerce strategy and roadmap, and lead execution of ecommerce updates to meet digital business objectives.
  • Actively ensure that user experience and site navigation maintain ease of use and is customer friendly in accordance with established guidelines and best practices.
  • Oversee daily site maintenance: work with all pertinent parties to establish site stability, site changes, problem troubleshooting, escalation, and resolution.
  • Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
  • Partner with digital director and media agencies to ensure third party retailer listings are optimized for ROAS, and all media driving to site is effective in driving revenue.
  • Manage the ecommerce web experience, to improve conversion rates, lead generation, revenue growth, basket size, rate of sale, repeat purchase, and other tactics including A/B testing and ongoing platform analysis.
  • Leverage analytics, quantitative, and qualitative customer insights to test, optimize, and drive measurable improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with broader marketing team on brand content and campaign strategy, providing strategic guidance on what is working or can be improved and how best to integrate the website with other digital platforms (social media, affiliates, etc.).
  • Provide daily, weekly, monthly reporting that analyze ecommerce KPIs and other site data to identify, size and prioritize areas for improvement.


Requirements


  • Entrepreneurial ambition: desire to dive in and problem solve
  • Experience building, optimizing, and managing a Shopify storefront, further developing front-end and back-end capabilities.
  • Highly analytical and knowledgeable about how to drive sales through use of ecommerce metrics and insights.
  • Proven success driving results in customer conversion and retention

  • Ability to work successfully cross-functionally and collaborate with different stakeholders on various initiatives
  • Comfortable with decision making and calculated risk taking for the benefit of the business
  • Ability to source and manage external agencies
  • Strong strategic thinker with excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to dispel information into actionable plans and creative solutions.
  • 3-5+ years of ecommerce and/or digital marketing experience
