Ecommerce Specialist Jobs

We are seeking a dynamic eCommerce Specialist who can step into this newly created role and make an immediate impact with our Marketplace initiatives. We're in search of a diligent eCommerce enthusiast skilled in both product setup and account health management across key platforms such as Amazon, Walmart, and eBay. The role requires an individual who can seamlessly merge technical expertise with proactive account maintenance to ensure optimal listing performance and compliance. This role will require an interest and understanding of Amazon’s and other 3rd party platforms and business style as well as the ability to articulate the key needs and opportunities back to the broader internal organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the unique requirements and best practices of these platforms and will be responsible for driving growth and optimizing listings across these channels.

Responsibilities:

Product Setup & Listing:

• Other responsibilities include Amazon Posts, A+ content creation, brand store creation & updates
• Oversee the creation and optimization of product content, including images, titles, bullet points, and descriptions
• Collaborate with internal teams to obtain and optimize product titles, descriptions, images, and other essential content.
• Manage the complete product setup process across various eCommerce platforms, ensuring each product is accurately represented

Account Health Management:

• Monitor, maintain, and report on account health metrics, ensuring the company's accounts remain in good standing on all platforms
• Monitor and report on competitive listings and pricing strategies
• Explore new opportunities/ promotional campaigns on each platform to expand the brand’s online presence
• Promptly address and rectify any account health issues, including policy violations, performance notifications, or customer feedback

Compliance & Best Practices:

• Stay updated on platform changes or updates related to product listing and account health standards
• Ensure all product listings adhere to each platform's specific guidelines, policies, and quality standards

Collaboration & Coordination:

• Work alongside inventory, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure synchronized efforts in product representation and customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with the inventory management team to ensure stock levels are maintained and to prevent stockouts
• Liaise with platform representatives or support teams to resolve any account-related issues or disputes

Continuous Improvement:

• Analyze product listing performance and customer feedback to recommend and implement listing optimizations
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform best practices in product setup and account management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, eCommerce, or a related field with strong interest in the eCommerce space
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Curious, creative and entrepreneurial character that stays abreast of industry trends and the competitive landscape
• Strong communications skills, with the ability to communicate across the entire organization
• Ideal candidate would have experience managing eCommerce accounts on platforms like Amazon, Walmart, and eBay- experience with marketplace analytical tools and software as a plus
• Strong team player, able to work successfully across multiple business functions
• Identify promotional opportunities and assist with the development of promotional calendars

Physical Demands

Speaking and hearing ability sufficient to communicate in person, over the telephone, and/or via video conference.

• Data analysis & interpretation. You will have to process and review a lot of information from a variety of sources, understand how data is collected, assess data quality, and how to use the information
• Comfortable with technology. Able to navigate data through computers, mobile, software, databases. Stay up to date with technology advances
• Confident decision-making skills. You will need to review data and make sound decisions on what actions to take and make confident recommendations to senior management. You may need to make decisions quickly with limited amounts of information in urgent situations
• Oriented to detail. Financial forecasts rely on projections which can be impacted by even minor changes in sales patterns, consumer sentiment, economic shifts, competitor changes, etc. You will need to be attuned to small changes in all streams of data
• Communication skills. You need to have advanced communication skills in both oral and written form. Emails and written communication with colleagues and external partners, written reports for senior executives. Able to communicate complex financial information to people outside of the finance department
