Duties:

• Assists in preparing and submitting documentation for reimbursement initiatives.
• Risk Management - Applies basic Risk Management principles to work.
• Serves as Primary reviewer in Veeva for Reimbursement Department.
• Carries out tasks related to area of responsibility with management oversight.
• Provides reasoning and justification in support of Reimbursement related changes to marketing materials.
• Communicates effectively verbally and in writing. Able to communicate with diverse audiences and personnel.
• The individual may execute tasks and exercise influence as needed to carry out assigned duties that support business goals.
• As an individual contributor, the function of a Document Specialist – Reimbursement, is to provide support for the reimbursement department and ensure efficient and compliant business processes.
• Work with cross-functional teams. Work with people from various disciplines and cultures.
• Maintains awareness and demonstrates an understanding of Client Reimbursement Guidelines and content in the Pricing Claims Matrix.
• Applies knowledge to all marketing materials routed through Reimbursement in Veeva, to ensure compliance.
• Works to ensure that actions are on time, thorough, complete, meet the needs of the business, and that required standards and/or procedural requirements are met.
• May provide solutions to local problems of low scope and complexity.
• The individual will conduct quality-related activities; to review and approve compliant, consistent, accurately sourced Promotional Materials (PromoMats), aligned to Reimbursement guidelines and Pricing Claims.
• Supports project work and acts as a community member.

Years Experience:

• Minimum Two Years - This position does not require previous reimbursement experience.
• 2-3 years experience in a regulated industry (e.g., medical products, nutritional's) preferred.
• Reimbursement experience is preferred but may consider quality assurance, research and development/support, scientific affairs, operations, or related area.

Education:

• Bachelors Degree. In science (biology, chemistry, microbiology, immunology, medical technology, pharmacy, pharmacology), math, engineering, or medical fields is preferred an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
