The CMG Divisional Quality Manager is responsible for supporting GP’s manufacturing sites and quality teams through assessing quality systems, validating product performance to quality expectations, and providing guidance in support of CAPA /RCA development. This role is a key role that enables Divisional Quality to be the preferred partner of CMG Operations and Brand teams.


This role is a remote opportunity. The candidate can work from home or work at a site nearby if preferred.


Our Team


The CMG Quality Team is responsible for leading and influencing quality at our GP sites to meet production expectations, drive quality improvements and develop quality talent through the use of project management and statistical tools. The group's combined talents complement each other to optimize and ensure operational, brand and commercialization support that enables virtuous cycles of mutual benefit with partners, manufacturing and commercial.


What You Will Do


  • Leading an effective quality system and divisional quality support by proactively monitoring product and process performance with alarms based on statistical trends before non-conforming product is produced
  • Leading quality processes that ensure that products and changes to our products are brought to market efficiently and effectively
  • Leading quality in such a way that products are delivered to our customers at the right quality, right time and in the right condition to provide excellent customer experience. This is done by having measures and metrics in place that are indicators of progress at various levels of the process, not only at finished product level, but at paper level and at shipping level.
  • Enabling the performance of products to be integrated into operational discipline, resulting in reduced losses, by using process tools that identify losses, uncover root cause and lead operations to effective corrective action which prevents reoccurrence


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


  • Able to travel up to 30% per needs of the business
  • Experience executing quality processes, including change management, CAPA/RCA, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with quality and statistical tools such as Minitab ® or NWA ® and reporting tools such as Tableau®
  • Experience working with Statistical Process Controls: examples such as %stability, Tz, Cv, CpK, PpK, measurement control and calculation of defect rates OR Six-Sigma certification (Green Belt), Quality certification or affiliation with a professional Quality organization


What Will Put You Ahead


  • Experience working in a quality management system for paper products
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Chemistry, Engineering, Physics, Biology or a Science field
  • Experience working with or through supply chain, marketing, and/or portfolio management processes
  • Experience with GFSI (SQF preferred) certifications and implementation
  • Experience conducting/leading quality system audits
  • Leadership and direct management experience of people, teams, prioritizing work assignments, developing of talents & skills
  • Six-Sigma certification (Black Belt)
  • Experience managing a cross functional team and influencing key stakeholders across an organization.


For this role, we anticipate paying $70k - $155k per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
