Job Summary


The fully-remote D&I Program Manager reports directly to the Senior Director of D&I with responsibility to lead, create and coordinate D&I programs and initiatives. This role is an individual contributor that works closely with the Senior Director and Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer to execute the strategy of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and collaborates with other stakeholders (HR, Business Leaders, Employees and Vendors) to promote DEI initiatives.

Job Responsibilities Include


  • Assists with other D&I duties as necessary.
  • Liaise with Recruitment function regarding outreach and talent attraction methods and philosophy.
  • Responsible to communicate D&I strategy, including metrics, to various functions within area of responsibility.
  • Collaborate with internal & external communications teams to prepare and create D&I communications material increasing knowledge, dialogue and conversations about critical issues that will be distributed across sites.
  • Drive corporate change initiatives through to the business and deliver DEI programs for managing culture.
  • As consultant, assist in coaching and advising the organization to provide DEI expertise with objectivity and professionalism in dealing with sensitive issues to all levels of management and employees.
  • Provide general management of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs).
  • Collaborate with Global Talent Management to create/deliver most effective trainings and resources to support DEI literacy, and creating and sustaining a diverse, equitable and inclusive organizational culture.
  • Support all aspects of the implementation of Labcorp’s D&I strategy.
  • Involvement with Best Places to Work and other Diversity & Inclusion focused awards.
  • Participate in the design, development and implementation of the D&I strategy, policy, programs, processes, and initiatives to drive the achievement of the Company’s strategic goals and objectives.
  • Provide general and/or specific interpretation of DEI policies and guidelines and recommend/develop new policies and guidelines when necessary.


Qualifications


The ideal candidate for the D&I Program Manager role should meet the following minimum requirements:


  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Understands complexities of inter/intra cultural interaction.
  • Minimum of 5 years' DEI business-related experience including exposure and responsibility for D&I programs, along with consulting/advising/influencing senior and functional business leaders.
  • Experience managing contracts with vendors and suppliers including long-term contracts, short-term transactional agreements and consulting projects.
  • Ability to lead and participate on teams with shared responsibility for outcomes and decision-making.
  • Ability to work well with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, along with facilitator/presenter abilities.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related work experience.
  • Agile and flexible, with the ability to drive/influence change.

  • Knowledgeable on global practices/initiatives regarding diversity, equity and inclusion
  • Demonstrated knowledge, skills, awareness of and commitment to contemporary issues of inclusion, social justice, diversity, access, and equity
  • Adapts and works effectively in a variety of situations with a diverse group of perspectives/styles
  • Role model for Labcorp’s values and behaviors
  • Solid understanding of key D&I metrics; basic reporting and analytics experience
  • A self-starter with the ability to use good judgment to problem solve and capable of driving results.
  • Demonstrated experience working on DEI related initiatives within a global company including experience creating and delivering training on diversity and inclusion topics
  • Strong collaborator with the ability to connect across all geographies to influence and lead change in partnership with multiple senior stakeholders
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of time
  • Ability to handle complex issues with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Solid program/project leadership skills with a proven track record of innovative thought leadership, and creative problem solving
  • Ability to manage a variety of projects simultaneously


Salary range: $58,000 - $109,000


Benefits: All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
