Job Description

A Series A Boston area biotech is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead


The Director of Project Management is responsible for leveraging their scientific and drug development background, along with their excellent project management and organizational skills, to help design, oversee, and ensure the execution of projects within R&D.


Other responsibilities include:

• Contributing to scientific strategy for early research programs, target discovery, platform development, and academic collaborations, including clinical development through IND enabling

• Working closely with the program scientific lead and SMEs to plan and execute project activities across all line functions and all levels; IND planning, editing, and management; and project and program scenario planning and budgeting through NDA submission.

• Managing discovery-stage contract research organizations

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Physical sciences or other relevant discipline. (MS or PhD Preferred)
  • 8+ years of experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry, preferably in the early development space, including 5+ years in project/portfolio management
