The Commercial Vehicle and Aftermarket division of the Vehicle Group North America (VGNA) supplies engine valves, clutches, transmissions, e-Mobility and electrical vehicle components, differentials and aftermarket to a wide array of customers.
Positiion Profile:
Reporting directly to the president, Commercial Vehicle and Aftermarket, Vehicle Group North America (VGNA) and functionally to the vice president of Manufacturing Strategy for Vehicle Group. This leader will be responsible for end-to-end supply chain management and materials planning for the business segment with $1.0B in annual sales and $500M in Eaton Cummins JV (ECJV) revenue. This role will have 6 direct reports with a total team of 100+. The successful incumbent will promote strong partnerships between the various manufacturing sites, global procurement organizations, and suppliers in their business to maximize spending leverage while creating synergistic efficient supply chain relationships.This leader directs the VGNA Supply Chain team to develop, deploy, and execute direct and indirect material cost out projects, new program launches/volume ramp ups, supplier rationalization projects, and financial tracking and supporting for VGNA supply chain performance and forecasting. Interacts with the continuous improvement function at the plants and corporate indirect teams to optimize indirect spending. Also works closely with the global logistics organization to optimize regular freight cost and minimize premium freight cost. Ensure a systematic materials strategy. Continuously improve common management practices and efficiently achieve an optimized materials management system in support of the VGNA and ECJV businesses.Define continuity plans to reduce/prevent disruption in production caused by suppliers. Establish and sustain a Regional Materials Council driving continuous improvement supporting Operations on improving the management system maturity.

- Ability to develop and maintain critical relationships with supply base and cross-functionally within Eaton.

- Demonstrated project leadership success spanning multiple regions.
- Demonstrated leader and relationship builder with strong interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable with detailed data management and data analytics.
Qualifications:
- Subject matter expertise in all relevant areas of procurement and materials management.
- Experience leading a large team of people in a matrix environment.
- Minimum of 12 years of supply chain management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or Engineering from an accredited institution; MBA is strongly preferred.
- Experience working globally and dealing with multi-national and offshore suppliers.
Location:
This position will be located in Southfield, Michigan.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $168,750 - $247,500 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
