Director Of Supply Chain

The Director of Supply Chain will be responsible for the management and continuous development of Royal Technologies Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning groups.

Responsibilities:

• Work with operations teams to create effective solutions to improve each site’s demand planning, inventory management, and distribution efficiency.
• Maximize the utilization of current inventory and drive longer-term reductions
• Maintain and continuously improve the corporate SIOP program
• Provide strategic direction and leadership to the planning teams with a focus on improving efforts in demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, and new product launch. Use of industry best practices, leveraging new technologies, and optimizing scheduling process
• Lead a culture that promotes involvement, communication, collaboration, mutual trust & respect, and teamwork.
• Drive the implementation of new tools and technology including automation, warehouse management systems and ERP planning.
• Assist in the transition to a new ERP system utilizing best in class practices.
• Develop processes and best practices for company-wide changes in inventory management, procurement, data management, and production planning

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to lead across functions within a matrixed organization to drive change
• Looking for a proven leader with 10+ years’ experience in supply chain (Automotive experience preferred), manufacturing/operations, inventory management, material requirements planning, demand management and logistics.
• Strong collaboration, project management and problem solving skills
• Google Sheets/Excel proficient
• APICS CPIM & CSCP certifications preferred
• Proficiency in utilizing ERP systems in a manufacturing environment and working knowledge of industry best practices (QAD experience preferred)
• Six Sigma - Green Belt Certification preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations management or related field
