Sr. Operations and Fulfillment Manager

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Elsa Creative is seeking an experienced and highly-motivated Sr. Operations and Fulfillment Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of our operations and fulfillment processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective procurement, inventory management, and order fulfillment. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of supply chain dynamics.
WHAT YOU'LL DO AS A SR. OPERATIONS AND FULFILLMENT MANAGER:
Supply Chain Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end supply chain, including inventory management, order processing, and logistics coordination.
- Implement and maintain inventory control systems to optimize stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and prevent stockouts or excess inventory in conjunction with procurement and sourcing activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, customer service, and distribution, to optimize supply chain processes and ensure smooth operations.
Operational Efficiency:
- Identify and implement automation and technology solutions to enhance operational processes and increase productivity.
- Analyze operational processes and identify areas for improvement, streamlining workflows to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance, monitor progress, and identify areas of concern.
Team Leadership:
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, encouraging professional growth and development among team members.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify training needs to enhance the team's skills and capabilities.
- Support Operations through receiving, stocking, picking, and shipping of ecommerce and wholesale orders, as needed.
- Lead a team of operations and fulfillment staff, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure optimal performance.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Implement and maintain robust contingency plans to minimize disruptions and ensure business continuity.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies in all operations activities.
- Assess and mitigate potential risks associated with suppliers, logistics, and operational processes.
Contributes to collective team effort by accomplishing any other related tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Intermediate Excel experience; analyzing large datasets, create reports, and develop operational dashboards.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
- 4-6 years or equivalent experience (Required)
- Familiarity with relevant industry software, systems, and procedures such as ERP, WMS, and EDI, a plus.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Dependable, communicative, and highly attentive to detail
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions.
