Position Summary


The Director, Site of Care is responsible for leading and managing a team of field-based associate directors, ensuring the group meets site of care business objectives. The objectives of the Site of Care team are to assess, plan and execute Horizon programs to support treatment delivery for our infused therapy offerings. The Lead will provide input on the strategic direction of the business. The Site of Care Director will coordinate with National Directors of Sales and Infused Brand sales leads to facilitate appropriate collaboration between the teams.


Responsibilities


  • Lead and manage a team of Associate Directors supporting site of care accounts
  • Track each team member’s performance against key metrics
  • Develop key performance metrics appropriate to the team’s efforts and company business objectives
  • Develop presentations on the group objectives and performance as needed, at least quarterly
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to pull through national partnership contracts at the local level
  • Develop each team member individually as needed to fulfill the role in each region
  • Prospecting to identify new sites of care and performing GAP analysis
  • Working with sales leadership to develop and execute integrated business plans to maximize Site of Care options
  • Ensure the team has appropriate ongoing training and expertise
  • Accountable for the performance, training, and compliance of the team


Qualifications And Skills Required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required, Business or Science discipline preferred.
  • Ophthalmology, specifically Retina or Uveitis preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Individual buy and bill physician office practices
  • Demonstrates ability to lead, inspire and empower an associate director team towards meeting and exceeding management by objectives.
  • Innovative thinking and coaching.
  • Excellent presentation and power point skills
  • National and/or regional infusion service providers (i.e.; SPP’s, Infusion Management Companies)
  • Home infusion service providers
  • Minimum of 8 years pharma/medical industry experience and/or 4+ years people management experience required.
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience with market access/site of care customer segments and reimbursement (commercial and government payers, billing/coding) with infused products required.
  • Professional, proactive demeanor.
  • Experience in infused therapies required; rare disease experience preferred.
  • Ability to influence without authority in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills in above mentioned areas.
  • Direct experience with identifying, activating and creating accountability wiht sites of care in various infusion service areas such as:
  • Strong understanding of Buy and Bill process with infused therapies.
  • Strong leadership, planning and organization, analytics, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Requires approximately 75% travel, including some overnight and weekend commitments.
  • Fosters innovation in account approaches and practices.
  • Strong strategic planning and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a highly dynamic environment with a high sense of urgency.
  • Hospital outpatient and infusion centers
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory and enforcement environments along with demonstrated integrity on the job.
  • Strong attention to detail combined with a keen ability to recognize issues in the context of higher-level policies and regulations.
  • Recent launch experience with infused products preferred.

Compensation and Benefits Summary:


The salary range for this role is $198,000.00-$242,000.00 annually. The base salary offered may vary based on the final candidate's qualifications. The level of this role may also change based on the final candidate's qualifications.
