Pay Grade: Manager 7


This position coordinates and supervises the daily operations of all Enrollment and Student Services activities at the Research Triangle Park Campus. This position will also oversee the Information Technology Care Team, and will assist with daily advising of IT students, and general walk-in students at the RTP campus.

Responsibilities and Duties (*Essential Functions)

  • Serve as the first point of contact for Enrollment and Student Services administrative matters for the Research Triangle Park (RTP) campus location
  • Work closely and collaboratively with functional area leaders to ensure continuity of services for the RTP campus location
  • Oversee the Information Technology Care Team
  • Supervise assigned staff and manages issues related to personnel or customer service
  • Coordinate with Chief Campus Officer regarding strategic enrollment management issues for the campus market

Ensure students at RTP campus receive needed support throughout the student lifecycle, through direct support and collaboration with other departments

Supervise and manage Enrollment Navigator initiative

Advise general and IT student walk-ins, and virtual IT students

Coordinate on-campus events such as, but not limited to, Open House and tours

Serve as Enrollment and Student Services representative at RTP Campus meetings

Communicate concerns with collegewide subject matter leads, Chief Campus Officer, and Vice President of Enrollment and Student Services

Serve on college wide and campus committees as requested

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Intermediate skills with MS Office products

Excellent communication skills, listening, writing, and speaking

Effective collaboration, critical thinking and problem-solving, and team-building skills

Strong problem-solving skills

Demonstrated abilities and experiences working with a diverse population

Ability to make effective presentations in a corporate/collegiate setting

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling or a related field

Two years of supervisory experience in a college setting

Three years' experience in student development, student affairs, enrollment or a related field in a post-secondary environment

Preferences:

Master's Degree in Counseling or a related field

Administrative experience in higher education

Experience in a community college setting
