Delivery Director Jobs

Description

As a Delivery Director,you will partner with clients undertaking major digital business or engineering transformation engagements. You will work within a cross-functional, globally distributed team to lead the planning, estimation, and delivery of client projects and programs.

Roles and Responsibilities

● Demonstrate strong track record of team leadership within a large scale rapid environment – must have end to end management experience in customer facing role

● Strong problem-solving skills and the abilities to analyse quantitatively, scope technical

requirements and effectively prioritize program deliverables are essential

● Candidate with good exposure in setting up a program, hiring, scaling and managing large teams, and process improvement

● Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with all levels of the organization to achieve

broader insights into managing work streams and outcomes

● Facilitate recurring communication upward and across project teams including project status,

justifications for variances and technical information.

● Experience managing and contributing to sales proposals by collaborating and negotiating with multi-disciplinary teams to shape a cohesive delivery approach, team shape, and cost estimates to deliver transformative value driven proposals

● Experience working with Agile delivery methods and collaboration tools.

● Experience in writing, reviewing, and finalizing statements of work

● Identify training needs of the team to re-skill and close staffing needs for upcoming engagements.

● Manage aspirations of the team, provide feedback regularly on the performance and keep the

team motivated & engaged.

● Provide leadership & mentor delivery managers, project managers

● Ability to travel as needed.

Requirements

● 15+years of IT Software Development and delivery experience including 5+ years in managing

global delivery.

● Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills.

● Experience handling UX design projects is preferred.

● Offshore Delivery management experience (should have handled a large enterprise accounts or multiple small and medium sized accounts)

● Relevant experience at a digital agency or consultancy leading cross functional, multi-disciplinary teams to deliver exceptional digital experiences

● Scrum or SaFe Certification is a plus
