Director - Residential Program / Youth Services

Due to anticipated organizational growth, Liberty Healthcare seeks qualified candidates for a potential new Director position.

As Liberty Healthcare’s Director, your mission will be to establish and lead a new mental health program to serve youth who are justice-involved and have mental illness, behavioral challenges, and developmental disabilities.

The program will endeavor to expeditiously deliver court-mandated forensic mental health evaluations, short-term psychiatric treatment / stabilization, and restoration of competency to youth within a secure residential setting.

This program will be based on Liberty Healthcare’s award winning model and rooted in best practices person-centered care.

As Liberty Healthcare’s Director, you will enjoy a wide array of responsibilities, including:

• Leading a start-up initiative

• Establishing a 6-bed secure residential mental health program

• Hiring, training, and supervising a team of clinical and ancillary professionals

• Establishing a high-performance culture while championing diversity, equity and inclusion

• Ensuring all program clients receive high quality care

• Liaising with an array of stakeholders across various healthcare organizations, youth service agencies, court systems, and law enforcement agencies

As a full-time employee of Liberty Healthcare in this role, you can expect:

• Starting salary in the range of $120,000 to $150,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)

• 240 hours (30 days) of annual paid time off for vacation, holidays, sick and personal leave

Moreover, as a Director with Liberty Healthcare you will be a part of a national team of leaders and subject matter experts in the health and human services field.

You are a good fit for this position if you have knowledge of best practices in trauma informed care as well as the assessment and treatment of children and adolescents who have mental illness, behavioral challenges and developmental disabilities.

You should also have a successful track record of leading health and human services programs. A Masters degree is required and experience operating residential programs is preferred.

Licensed Psychologists, Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Professional Counselors, and Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFTs) are encouraged to apply – though professional licensure is not required for this position.
