Job Description

The Director of Program Management is responsible for supporting high priority special projects across Tenet Healthcare’s enterprise to further strategic business priorities. This includes evaluating business opportunities, developing detailed plans and roadmaps, supporting implementation as well as monitoring results. Special projects may range from facility-specific, market-wide or enterprise-wide depending on the business need.


The Director of Program Management is responsible for managing projects, end-to-end, to drive strategic and operational business impact across the Tenet portfolio including:


  • Developing benchmarks and data tools to evaluate operations across multiple markets and drive actionable change.
  • Collaborating with Corporate, Market and Facility leadership on prioritization, assessment and execution of special projects
  • Utilizing quantitative analytics to identify opportunities, track progress and measure results across
  • Collaborating with various service line leaders to develop and champion new ideas and initiatives that create operational or strategic advantage.
  • Measuring progress to goals and constantly developing course-correcting action plans as needed.
  • Leveraging multiple financial, clinical, market insights data sources and distilling key insights that inform next steps and / or decisions
  • Effectively communicating, written and verbal, with senior leadership across the company
  • Facilitating working sessions and process mapping with clinical and administrative stakeholders
  • Integrating quickly into facility leadership team to support new growth, implement new processes, and/or address new challenges.


Iv. Candidate Experience, Attributes And Education Requirements


A minimum of three years of progressively responsible healthcare management experience, preferably in an acute care hospital. Highly developed expertise in quantitative analysis to support advancement in the organization’s goals and objectives.


  • High level, complex problem-solving abilities both in groups and in one-on-one situations.
  • Ability to integrate physicians’ needs with the best interest of patients and the hospital.
  • Ability to think logically and develop process flow maps.
  • High orientation to detail with proven analytical and financial skills.

Education/Certifications


  • Bachelor’s degreefrom a recognized and accredited institution – Required
  • Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration – Preferred
Compensation


A competitive compensation program will be tailored to the selected candidate. Base salary will be supplemented by a performance bonus and comprehensive, well-rounded benefits program, which includes relocation assistance.


Travel


Up to 80%
